Pokemon Day thoughts

Perhaps, I'm a bit late to the party. Yet....I have some thoughts, and I am a bit glad I waited a bit, because I can see that I'm not the only one who has these thoughts, not that it matters, but its good to see that there is something to talk about.

One big, they very big mental frustration people have is well, the original gangsters themselves...where is red, blue, yellow, and....hell.....even green? After writing that...I feel like I'm writing some sort of true crime missing story. Where have these games gone?

Soon they will in fact disappear from the 3Ds E-Shop. You might have bought the games, but you don't own them, leading fans to say "Why doesn't Nintendo just add them to the switch online? That's the big question. No one knows, and it seems Nintendo subtly keeps doubling down on not adding them.

Light at the end of the tunnel? There is always hope. Nintendo could always drop Red/Blue, and other Gameboy/GB Advance Pokémon games when Pokémon Stadium 1&2 come out. There could be another Nintendo direct in 2023. Normally they like to announce Pokémon News on Pokémon day, however, if memory serves me correctly (Don't quote me) Stadium 1&2 was not announced in a Pokémon direct. If this was the case, there is still hope, however, don't hold your breath.

Never give up hope, we all love Pokémon as fans, and although it might seem small to some, people with the love for Pokémon, just want the ability to play the games. Thank you for reading, and have a great week.

Update:

According to the official Nintendo support page, you will still be able to download updates, and content. This seems for purchasing only. If I'm understanding this right, you will still be able to download your stuff. Its still better to be safe than sorry, to go and download now.

"How long will it still be possible to redownload previously purchased content in Nintendo eShop for Wii U or the Nintendo 3DS family of systems? How long will those systems still support online play?

For the foreseeable future, it will still be possible to redownload games and DLC, receive software updates and enjoy online play on Wii U and the Nintendo 3DS family of systems."
